The Aegis Bored Lock features a heavy-duty stainless-steel escutcheon with a large message indicator on both sides of the lock. Occupants inside the room or personnel in the hallway can identify the lock’s status allowing them to respond instantly.
Aegis Mortise Lock with Indicator

1000 Series Exit Device with Indicators
TownSteel has an indicator solution for our 1000 series exit device. This convenient visual aid is available on the inside of the door and allows staff and students to immediately see if the door is locked or not and to deny entry to any unauthorized individuals. In the case of an emergency, staff and students are always allowed free egress.
