TDC 40

The TownSteel TDC 40 Series door closers are designed for commercial and industrial high-traffic applications. These are ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 certified, ADA-compliant closers that provide superior heavy-duty performance. 

Available options include: Regular arm, Hold-Open arm, CUSH arm, Hold-Open CUSH arm, Spring CUSH arm, Spring Hold-Open CUSH arm, Extra Heavy Duty arm, Extra Heavy Duty Hold-Open arm, and Slide Tracking arm

  • Heavy-duty cast iron body
  • Able to use for on both right and left hand doors (except for HEDA arm option)
  • Precision rack and pinion construction
  • Adjustable spring power from size 1 to size 6, factory preset size 3.
  • Separate and adjustable latch, sweep, and backcheck valves standard
  • Adjustable delayed action closing valve optional
  • Tri-Style installation: Includes hardware and brackets to allow for regular, top jamb, and parallel arm installation.
  • Available in Aluminum, Duro, Black or special finish upon request
  • Screw pack for metal and wood doors installation, includes sleeve nuts and bolts, self-drilling screws, wood and machine screws
