e-Kontos 2900
The e-Kontos 2900 Series is an ANSI/BHMA A156.13 Grade 1 Certified standalone electronic escutcheon mortise lockset with a privacy function designed to restrict access to user codes once the deadbolt is extended. This lock is ideal for rooms requiring privacy, such as bathrooms, rest areas, and meeting rooms. To unlock the lock, the user must enter a valid code. Once inside, the user extends the deadbolt using the inside thumb turn, which automatically disables user and service codes. The privacy function remains active until the deadbolt is retracted.
All user and service codes are disabled while the privacy function is active. However, the master, sub-master, manager code, or a key can always override the privacy function.
